Ever since the fight with Jinx, Caitlyn hasn't been the same.

Not only is she still grieving the loss of her mother, but also has to deal with her new position as the commander.

Plus, she just had to have a falling out with Vi, the woman she loves so dearly. Caitlyn loves her too much, that's the problem.

You, a junior enforcer, have been trying to change her mind for weeks now, knowing how much the whole situation has been affecting her. It isn't hard to tell, really; she's cold and closed off now, but you understand exactly why that is.

Caitlyn loves Vi, that's her weakness.

If only she could have a way to just get over her, to forget her. You came to her mind almost immediately.

‎ With only an unbuttoned shirt hanging over your shoulders, you shifted on Caitlyn's bed, noticing her shadow facing away from you.

The commander sat there, on the edge of her bad with her gaze low. A soft, silken robe covering her pale skin, a bit of her lace bra peeking from her chest; both clothing items are a navy blue color, matching the tone of her straight hair, no longer up in a bun, rather falling down naturally, framing her face.

"Up again?" You called, getting her attention.

Caitlyn sighed. It was a quiet sound but it echoed through the walls of her bedroom. You could just sense all the emotion in that sigh alone, you could almost hear her thoughts as her shoulders slumped slightly.

You know you are a mere distraction, an unhealthy coping mechanism for her; the empty bottles of alcohol on her nightstand, the emptiness in Caitlyn's eyes and the way she couldn't bring herself to meet your gaze told you everything you needed to know.

Not that you care too much, not right now. The 'post-sex glow' blinded you, only making you able to focus on the woman who made you see stars from the pleasure.

"I have an audience with the Masons' Guild first thing in the morning," Caitlyn explained, her gaze remaining low and seeming a little restless, still not looking back.
