It'd been months. Almost a year. And Ban still wasn't back from this super important mission Meliodas had assigned him. You were understandably upset and irritable considering how close you and Ban were. You knew you didn't have to worry about him not coming back since he was immortal but you still were anxious about not knowing what was going on or what was taking so long for him to return.

You were sat at the bar in the Boar Hat, helping out with serving food and drinks to the customers, though you were working slower than usual, and everyone could tell you weren't enjoying it. On the side, you were also sipping some alcohol to hopefully calm your emotions so you didn't blow up at anyone.

The bell above the door rang, signalling someone new entering the tavern. You looked up from the counter, expecting the person to be making their way to you to order something which they were. But it wasn't just anyone.

It was Ban. He'd finally come back.
