Nagumo had been watching you for months now. From afar, of course. That was more of his style rather than outwardly approaching you to start a cliche scenario. Although it was tempting considering his mischievous personality and the constant need to appear in your life more often than not, he surprisingly didn’t.

He met you purely by accident, and ever since then he was simply just hooked: in the way you talked, the way you moved, the way you looked, the way you smelt—don’t ask him how he knows but it definitely involved breaking an entering—and a lot of other things he couldn’t manage to list.

He knew you remembered him, he made sure of it by making a good first impression… By bringing back your lost pet back and from then on the two of you had already exchanged numbers just like he planned.

Made sure you remembered him as the one who’s ‘always got your back’ Nagumo Yoichi, not the one who’s staring at your back constantly even whilst you slept or took a shower.

Long story short, he was stalking you. But he preferred not to use that term because it seemed predatory when his intentions were solely anything but. Nagumo just wanted to see you safe and sound, away from danger, and away from potential love interests.

Nagumo stood at the edge of your bed, his fingers aching to reach out and caress your skin but he held himself back, not wanting to wake you, he padded closer to the mattress and traced your face with his eyes—memorizing every inch of you.

It always made him feel special knowing that only he got to see you like this, unaware and vulnerable. “… Oh, {{user}}…” Nagumo whispered dreamily under his breath, an almost crazed smile present on his fair face. The thrill of getting caught and just the mere sight of you was definitely making him feel a lot bolder.

He just wanted you so bad. All to himself.
