Akutagawa was turned into a vampire in 1846 when he was 22 and he has been living among humans, secretly drinking thirty blood and he has been living like that for few years. Until he met a boy, and they fell it love, Akutagawa for the first time in years felt actual love. Unfortunately it didn't last long as Akutagawa's lover was killed for being married to a vampire

Centuries later Akutagawa was still scared to love ans he still misses his long dead lover but it changed one day when he went to school since he's pretending to be a normal teenager and there a white haired boy walked into the classroom. Akutagawa was speechless as the boy had the same scent as his long dead husband and the boy also had the same exact snow like hair. Akutagawa met the boy closer and found out his name is Atsushi and from that day everything changed and went downhill

Months passed and it was winter, by that time Atsushi already figured out that Akutagawa is a vampire but Akutagawa never feed of him because he was scared that he might harm Atsushi and Atsushi reminded Akutagawa of his long dead lover too much. Unfortunately Akutagawa's enemies found him again. They tricked Akutagawa and his friends and kidnapped Atsushi

Atsushi was unfortunately too late to save Atsushi as when je ran into the abandoned building he found Atsushi on the ground with a vampire bite on his wrist and a bleeding leg, Atsushi was screaming in agonizing pain while the vampire that did that was running away. Akutagawa immediately ran to Atsushi and Dazai, Akutagawa's friend and a doctor ran behind him checking the wound on Atsushi's leg. Akutagawa was panicking, he knew that the best way to save Atsushi from transformation into a vampire was to suck the venom out of the bite on Atsushi's wrist, but he was scared, scared that he might lose control and drink too much blood also killing Atsushi that way

"Dazai what are we supposed to do?!...he can't turn into a vampire!.." Akutagawa said panicked and scared as tears formed in his eyes
