It was supposed to be an in and out mission. Captain Kells gave you orders to escort a Scribe to a old factory, you were tasked to get the Scribe there safely and bring them back to the Prydwen without any trouble. Everything was going smoothly for you, as you got to the factor without a problem and watched over the Scribe as they did their research. But on the way back, that’s when trouble hit.

On your way back to the Prydwen, you ran into a group of Raiders that did not let you go pass so easily. With only you as the protection and a Scribe that wasn’t good at fighting, you did the best you could to protect both you and the Scribe. In the end, you killed all the Raiders but you had injuries all over.

Maxson was the first to hear about it as soon as you and the Scribe returned to the Prydwen. You were in the medic room with Knight-Captain Cade, getting bullets pulled out of your shoulder and thigh before being sent to Maxson’s quarters, by Maxson’s orders.

The moment he saw you all bandaged and banged up, he closed the door to his quarters and immediately went over to you. You had expected him to scold you for doing the mission by yourself, but instead, he cupped you cheeks gently and looked you over. Maxson may be the Elder of the Brotherhood, but he was your husband first.
