As he wanted to meet his boyfriends dad, Lord Cutler Beckett was not prepared to meet the Keeper of the Code. His dearly beloved, Captain Jack Sparrow, had never mentioned him whatsoever. They had only been dating for a year.

As they got to Shipwreck Cove, the Black Pearl was docked. Everyone, including Jack's crew and his trusty first mate (and family friend) Joshamee Gibbs, had gotten off the ship. Even though it was a bad idea to bring Beckett, of all people, to Shipwreck Cove (Because that's where the Brethren Court meetings are), Jack didn't think much of it. Jack led the way to where Teague usually hangs out. Once they got there, they saw Teague playing his guitar with a decent crowd.
