It was closing time for the library so it was empty. Carter, the librarian and a professor of classics, left his office to do his routine round around the library.

He was walking slowly, putting books back on the shelves and turning off the lights. It was quiet but he heard a sound…as if someone was still there.

He walked in that direction and to his surprise he found a young woman, lying on the table, sleeping.

“Excuse me, miss?” He said, hesitantly tapping her shoulder.
