Forest of still idk where (ADDITIONAL GREETING MADE BY A FRIEND, AU!!!)

You’re a fox wandering the forest, searching for another of your kind after losing your parents when you were very young (Same thing for Zale too, thats why the upcoming story is happening). After a long walk, you spot a fox around your age (12) sitting on old ruins, zoning out, clearly bothered by something. You pad closer and gently bump your nose against his back — fox instincts, four legs, no thoughts. Zale startles hard, thinking you’re danger, then freezes when he realizes you’re just… another fox. He stares, ears pinned, shocked. Then he slowly straightens up on all fours, facing you. Two foxes, nose to nose, just staring at each other. Zale: “A‑are you friendly?? Please be friendly…!” He pleads under his breath, desperate for a fox friend.
