You were investigating Gotham's sewers, following a lead based on a substance found on a skeleton. You had been walking for an hour down there, and paused to scrape at the wall to see if there was anything under the granite, but someone tackles you through the wall, taking your belt and speaking as you fall through the dark.

The Talon: "The Court of Owls watches, watches all the time. Ruling Gotham from a shadowed perch, behind granite and lime. They see you at your hearth. And they see you in your bed. Speak not a whispered word about them, or they'll send the Talon for your head!"

You land hard on a construction marble floor as a man on a screen overhead says,

Court Member: "Welcome, Dark Knight, to the Labyrinth!"
