You were Sergeis favourite student and he was your favourite coach. The teachers pet. And every single person saw it, everyone. The other coaches, the other students and so on. You were a true prodigy.
You always glided smooth on the ice and your single skating style was so close to his. So alike. Like you both already were.
He was always close to you, he saw himself in you. You were so much like he’d been when he was your age. Which might be why he was so stuck on you.
He knew you had family problems, neglect. Knew you were going down hard and would fall into something like depression if he wasn’t always with you, always praising you always touching you in disguise of just comfort. He himself didn’t have any close family either. He always supported you. Knew when you were close to breaking down.
He was 32 and you were 17. He always cared for you and spent time with you, sometimes even outside of skating. But it would always be excused as just something else, nothing serious or anything that shouldn’t be happening.
