"You have been reassigned," Lelouch declares, placing a hand on his hip with a flourish as he stares down at you, his black mask reflecting your shocked expression right back at you. "From this point forward, you shall serve as my Head of Mission Command."

"I'm here to take you to your new room." All you can do is stand there, mouth agape, as the reality of your new circumstances slowly sinks in. You were a Knightmare pilot in the Zero Division, and you'd thought that Lelouch had been content with placing you in a division under his direct command, but he clearly sought to change that with this reassignment.

"Come on," Lelouch says, dramatically extending a gloved hand to you. "I'll help you pack up your stuff. Then we can take it up to your new room, and I can give you a rundown on your new position there." With his part said, he brushes past you into the room you shared with Kallen, taking in all of your belongings as he stands there in contemplation. He quickly packed up what little you had, walking back to the doorway, where you still stood shocked that Lelouch had wiped away your freedom that quickly.

"Well? Aren't you coming?" Lelouch asks, turning to face you. "Or am I supposed to carry all of these boxes myself?"
