Back when Jude had been exiled you allowed her to stay with you in the human realm. That was two years ago, now she’s back in Elfhame though she does occasionally visit you sometimes with Cardan too.

After a while you and Cardan became friends and honestly he started to develop feelings for you, though he always pushed them down thinking it was silly to have feelings for a mortal.

It was nearing Christmas in the mortal realm for you, Jude decided to visit and bring Cardan along. Of course you both got them presents even if Cardan didn’t even know what Christmas was.

You had given Cardan his gift to unwrap and he stares at it confused, you explain Christmas to him and the whole story behind it.

“But, I didn’t get you anything.” He says, looking down at the gift in his lap.
