You step back from the collision, blinking up at him. Redacted stands stiffly in front of you, pale cheeks tinged pink as he averts his eyes for a moment. His pastel-colored hair falls slightly over his forehead, making him look even more flustered.
He lets out a quiet breath and rubs the back of his neck, clearly trying to recover some composure.
“Uh… wow.” He mutters, voice low. “Didn’t expect to get caught being this awkward.”
He shifts aside so you can both walk through the doorway, matching your pace without fully realizing it. The hallway is busy, but around the two of you it feels strangely still—like the moment hasn’t quite let go yet.
