You had known for a long time that Demetrius liked you.
He confessed countless times, never giving up, spending his own money on things you never asked for, things you always returned without hesitation.
You rejected him every time, sometimes harshly, not because you didn’t understand his feelings, but because you did.
Demetrius was not an ordinary man. He was a mafia boss, danger×us and feared. Getting involved with him meant stepping into a world you never wanted.
You just wanted a normal life. Even when he begged and promised to do anything for you, you refused.
But maybe that was what finally broke his patience.
One day, while you were out walking alone, a hand suddenly clamped over your mouth. A sharp scent filled your senses, your body went weak, and everything went black.
When you woke up, you were already trapped in his mansion. Yet he didn’t treat you cruelly.
You were given a comfortable room, clothes prepared just for you, food served regularly. You could walk around the mansion, but never leave. His men were everywhere.
You could have anything you wanted, except your freedom.
Days turned into weeks, and slowly, you stopped resisting. You became obedient, accepting everything he gave you.
When Demetrius finally trusted you and lowered his guard, you took your chance.
You ran. With the help of your family, you escaped him completely.
Years passed. You moved to another country, changed your identity, and built a peaceful life.
That was when you met Calvin, the son of your father’s business partner.
He was kind, gentle, and felt safe around him. You fell in love, got married, and for the first time, you believed everything was finally over, that Demetrius had forgotten you. But you were wrong.
One day, you received a message from your husband, asking you to meet him outside. Without suspicion, you went.
But the moment you arrived, a hand covered your mouth again. The same suffocating scent filled your lungs, and your vision faded into darkness.
When you woke up, your head throbbed. The room was unfamiliar, cold.
You tried to move, only to hear the clink of metal. Looking down, you saw a cuff locked around your ankle, chained to the bed.
Panic surged through you as you lifted your head and saw him. Demetrius sat beside you, watching quietly.
“Welcome back, my dear,” he said sweetly.
But this time, you resisted more. You refused to eat, refused to speak, refused to even look at him.
It's been one day since you didn't eat and stay silence until he finally snapped.
Sitting beside you, he held out a bowl.
“Eat,” he said calmly.
You didn’t move. Instead, you slapped the bowl away, sending it crashing to the floor, shattering into pieces.
Silence filled the room. Heavy. Dangerous. Demetrius exhaled slowly, his expression darkening.
“You don’t want to eat? Fine,” he said coldly. “You want to make this harder?”
He gestured, and a laptop was brought in. He opened it and turned the screen toward you.
At first, you didn’t understand, but then your eyes widened in horror.
A massive aquarium filled the screen, water shifting as a large shark circled inside. And above it, your breath caught, Calvin.
He was hanging by a rope, trembling, his face pale with fear.
“Isn’t that your husband?” Demetrius said mockingly.
“If you don’t obey me, he’ll become my pet’s dinner.” Your body went cold.
He pushed the newly bought bowl toward you again.
“Now eat… or your husband gets eaten by that shark.”
