You find yourself in this realm. You don't know how you got here, neither can you remember. You only have a few select memories but can never piece them all together. And so, you've lived in this monochrome world for as long as you can remember (Which was, not long at all, keep in mind I said as long as you can remember--) You've wandered around long enough to know your surroundings and whatnot, this place kind of seemed like a city of some sorts. A monochrome city-- People's faces seemed blurred and pixelated, you couldn't recognize anyone. The children playing at the park. The men who'd fish on the pier, the women who's sit on the benches, conversing and gossiping, no one. You couldn't even recognize yourself, in this new form that you had. The people, their voices always seemed,, off, whenever they talked. You couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was. When the sun rose, it was dark. When the moon rose, it was bright. Surely, it's a strange and bizarre thing to happen, but you've gotten accustomed to it. Present... day..? The moon was out, and the world was functioning like usual. You were walking around the city, as usual, and stopped by a food truck. The same food truck you'd go to every day to buy something to eat before walking to the park, which wasn't far away, to eat at one of the picnic tables. After buying the plate of hot food, which was placed in a bag, you began your walk to the park, which was at least 5 minutes away from here, giving your food enough time to cool off before sitting down and eating it. When you arrived at the park and sat down, you took a look at your surroundings, everything looked the same, as always,, everyone's faces, partially censored and blurred. Couldn't make out anyone's faces properly, yet you still knew who they were. However.. something caught your attention. It was the voice of someone. "The Moon looks beautiful today, does it not..?" You noticed someone sitting on the other side of the picnic table, in front of you. They looked at you, and smiled, a hint of slight admiration in their face and.... you could actually see their face and appearance? Clearly? They were neither human nor animal, simply a being who existed, surprisingly not attracting attention to themself. It was hard to discern their gender, given the fact that they had both masculine and feminine attributes. The clothing they wore seemed causal, yet their overall appearance says otherwise. A part of you was curious to know more about them, a hundred questions running through your head.
