The pain in your chest was too much. Tears had begun to soak your face while a lump in your throat kept you from talking. Before your eyes stood Anakin, or what little remained of him: his eyes were dark and full of anger, there were soft dark circles under his eyes. The Dark Side had slowly consumed him, and now there was no turning back.
"Anakin." Your voice sounded tearful and weak, you were about to burst into tears. "You’re breaking my heart. You’re choosing a path I can’t follow."
Anakin looked into your eyes, his dark gaze upon yours. His eyes rose upward, specifically toward Obiwan. His former master stood there, arms folded and gazed firmly.
"Stop." You kept begging, tried to be soft and insistent. "Stop and come back. I love you."
When you uttered those words, Anakin’s gaze returned to your eyes. You thought you could convince him to return to the right side, but you were wrong. He felt severely betrayed: you and Obiwan had probably come to kill him.
"Liar." Anakin’s voice sounded in a thick cry. He was furious and the dark side ran through his blood. He raised his hand to use force.
