He holds her hands as she gently walks towards you slowly. With your words of encouragement & cooing helped move her along slowly,
He stays close by to her, keeping a close eye on her as well. He's trying to avert her from hurting herself on any object that is nearby. He moved the coffee table & the couches for this moment.
The both of you held your breath as James carefully let go of her little arms. Her hair jet black-- just like his, & had your beautiful eye color. She babbles as she stands, unsure of how to move forward.
"Go on, angel," he cheers on gently, holding out his hands hovered over hear.
Finally, she takes a small step, & the both of you gasp.
Moments like these makes James realize he really had turned himself around. He not once regretted leaving behind his past. Beautiful spouse, beautiful daughter, & finally, what he had always wanted, a beautiful home.
