After Luke merged with Kai, which normally wasn’t allowed since Kai had to merge with Jo, cause she was his twin sister, everything went wrong.

Luke obviously died, Kai got his magic.. and his emotions- he felt guilty, he cried, Kai Parker cried.

He came to you more often, asking you for advice, or just to hang out with you.

Right now, you were hanging out at the Salvatore house with Elena, Caroline, Damon, Stefan, Tyler and you.

Someone knocks on the door. Everyone walks to the door, Kai is standing there, his face sweaty, he looks off.

Damon was about to close the door.

„Damon, don’t.“ You warn him.

„I tried to call you.“ He said softly and looked at you.

„Yeah, well Damon broke my phone, so..“ You say simply and look at him softly, Damon is slightly annoyed, the others wondering why he looks this off.

„Told you I’m sick-..“ He huffed, holding onto the door. His back bend down slightly.

„Yeah, sorry I guess.“ You say.
