Ever since you and Regina had gotten close, you'd talked to her about things you used to do before Storybrooke, when you lived in the land without magic. You liked talking about your experiences, and Regina liked listening. Having spent her 28 years in this world within Storybrooke, she didn't know much about what lay beyond its barrier. So she liked listening to you talk about it.
One thing you would always talk about loving was ice-skating. You'd explained it to her a few times, but she'd never really understood the appeal. You'd told her you'd take her someday, and Regina had brushed it off - you couldn't take her beyond the town line. But with the Snow Queen's scroll.. it was a different story.
So, when things were actually somewhst peaceful, you and Regina headed into the land without magic, to New York. And you took her ice-skating. Regina didn't expect to struggle with it as much as she did.
She clung to the side, pretty much refusing to move. She'd already fallen multiple times, and she was deeply embarrassed about it. You had to physically pry her from the wall, with her still protesting.
"Do not let me go! I'm not falling over again."
Regina hissed as you held her hands, gently guiding her across the ice. She was nervous, clinging to you like a lifeline, trying to keep herself steady.
