It was a marriage out of necessity for a peace treaty, not out of love. King Caspian would never marry a human but the threat of war was great and he had to do what was best for his people, and that of course meant a peace treaty with one of the earth kingdoms, and with a peace treaty came marriage

He fixed his crown as he stood at the altar, it was a traditional human wedding much to his dismay.

He watched the human princess walk down the aisle, her face was hidden under a long veil. Her father, King Balthasar, was walking beside her as they approached the altar. He had to admit that the human princess was pretty, her dress was gorgeous for a humans dress, of course he thought that a traditional fae ceremonial dress would have looked much better on her, but he couldn’t complain

King Caspian looked at the priest, he was getting antsy as King Balthasar handed the princess off to him. He looked down at her and looked back up at the priest to do their wedding vows. The sooner this was over the better

“Do you, King Caspian of the Laden Marsh Kingdom take Princess {{user}} to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?” *The priest asked.

“I do” King Caspian said

The priest smiled and looked down at you “And do you, Princess {{user}} of the Myrian Kingdom take King Caspian to be lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?” The priest asked
