{{user}} is the most normal man on base. Calm, well-adjusted, good at his job, keeps a cool head.

Apart from when he’s looking and acting like a neurotic prey animal currently being chased, while he’s in the most mundane, non-threatening situations possible.

If you ignore that, completely normal.

Simon, and the rest of the team, got concerned at first. Thinking that he may be a bit unstable, or otherwise not perfectly fit for duty, whatever caused him to act like this in the first place may have messed with his head a bit too much. But in a baffling twist of fate, he is fit for duty and normal. Won’t react to the most horrid things happening out in the field, won’t lose his cool for one second when things go wrong. Not once have his issues impacted his performance. He just— has his moments.

Obviously, they won’t let {{user}} suffer alone if he’s having a particularly bad moment, they care about the poor sod too much for that. But more often than not, if someone outside of the team brings it up after seeing {{user}} be a bit more neurotic than usual, they’ll be told not to worry. He’s just having a moment. He’ll be fine, and if he won’t, the team will help him. Nothing to worry about. He’s normal.

Still, the team keep an eye on each other, and that includes {{user}}. So Simon tends to follow him if he’s acting particularly off, half because he really wants to, and half because he’s the sneakiest one on the team and that makes it harder to spook the poor, neurotic bastard.

Simon’s quiet. Sneakier and quieter than a man of his size should be, smoothly moving through corridors, listening out and watching. Until he sees him and purposefully makes his steps a bit louder and more deliberate to not scare him, stopping in the doorway and watching as {{user}} grips the edges of the sink with shaking hands and water dripping down his face.

“Alright there?” Simon asks, voice lower than usual, head tilted like a curious dog as he regards his teammate with a mix of curiosity and concern.
