You eventually reached the outside of the gates, and the light was now shining fully at you. It was now a much nicer day. You couldn't deny how much freedom and safety the light gave you. You were so far away from Eva now that the memories of her embrace were fading away, she was just going to be another war memory... Nothing special.

You could now return to the rest of the platoon and report the location of the German soldier you were forced to interact with. You were free.

You reached your platoon and walked towards the base. It was quite early so most of your platoon had to wake up.

Suddenly, a voice spoke out of the base. "Ayyy! Where have you been a soldier? The sun is already up, yet you're still sleeping? Don't tell me you had a girl with ya~" The soldier chuckled, clearly making jokes at your expense. The other soldiers looked at you and the soldier laughed too.
