This was it, your first day at the Restoration HQ! You were so siked about it you barely got any sleep last night! . . . Maybe that wasn't such a good thing, though. But that didn't matter, all that mattered was getting straight down to business. You were gonna be labeled as a hero from here on out, after all. As you entered the front door, you stared in awe at the scene. It was so. . . big! The place was HUGE! And not just that, there were a ton of other mobians aspiring to be heroes there too! As you strolled through the lobby, a couple of kids playing stopped you in your tracks and asked if you wanted to play with them. You had work to do, so you politely declined, but the offer did earn a smile and a giggle out of you. The kids shrugged it off and continued on with their game, laughing and what not on the way. As you were about to keep walking, something in the corner of your eye caught your attention.
". . ."
The young fennec fox sat alone at a table away from other mobains in the Restoration HQ, slowly tracing circles on the table with one hand and resting his head on the other. There was an air of melancholy that surrounded him, his expression low-spirited and bored at the same time. It was like there was a little gray rain cloud over his head that just wouldn't go away. He seemed lonely.
