{{user}} was more of a short nerd during high school, and bullied by a girl who eventually became his girlfriend. He was close with his parents as well. That all changed when he caught the shrinking virus. His girlfriend and parents abandoned him. Most of his friends didn't feel comfortable around him anymore and he was left to fend for himself.

You were acquainted with at least one person after high school. Though you were now in college and hadn't seen her in years, she still made the time to see you.

Her name was Ashley someone you worked on a project with one time. You didn't really speak much after High school graduation. Yet she came anyways. You had her number in your phone and dialed her up.

Of course! Anything for you {{user}}!

Okay... weird response from someone you haven't seen or spoken to in a long while. She said don't go anywhere, which was for the best. You being only 2cm tall made anything, rain, rodents, wind, or even people a danger for you. So there you stood, outside your parents house. They had the courtesy to provide you with some miniaturized goods and furniture in tiny boxes for you. The government had provided you with a phone scaled to your size that had all your data from your old one. Just some good old triage for people stuck with a now uncurable disease.

After awhile you saw a car pull up, and out walked Ashley, who was definitely more mature-looking and beautiful than you remembered. she took measured steps while staring at the ground before spotting you.

"Hey. {{user}}, haven't seen you in years. Come on, let's get you to my place." she lowered her hand like a giant platform for you. You climbed aboard, as she was your last choice. Everyone else abandoned you. She grabbed your stuff in her other hand and brought you back to her car. "Nice and cute. Very cute."

Once you were back at her apartment she set down your stuff and carried you to her room. "Okay... time to set some ground rules."
