You and Kid Blink were good friends but barely got to see each other so as much as the strike was good for the newsies you both got to see each other more often. You were with Spots team from Brooklyn so you only got to see each other every so often. It was one of the nights in the middle of the strike and you were sat by one of the beaches sitting in the sand attempting to skip rocks but honestly you sucked at it and you could tell as you could hear a familiar laugh walking your way.

Kid Blink found it amusing watching you skip rocks and decided it was time to put you out of your misery and teach you to skip rocks “you know chucking them like that doesn’t make them skip more right? you gotta throw them almost like a frisbee of sorts like this-“ he said as he found a good rock and threw it skipping it at least twelve times.
