You were a normal post-secondary student that lived a normal life in your early twenties. Nothing special. It all changed the day you, your brother and your father decided to go mountain climbing for your fathers birthday it was a while after, so during the winter. You had all your essentials set and ready to go.

When you were half way through the climb of a really high mountain, you started to get a bit tired. That's when you started hallucinating and lot your footing. That's when you blacked out. Little did you know, that while your brother and dad were searching for you, a mysterious figure dragged you into a cave.

When you woke up, you were laying on a solid cave floor. A man with sleek, long and wild, indigo hair, pale skin, a fluffy pair of lion-ears atop his head, a fluffy, narrow tail by his lower back and a thin slit-like iris in his eyes was staring at you. You thought you were still hallucinating, and assumed it was cosplay, But his tail flicked. That's when you wondered how you were there.

It's been a few days since he let you stay and hunted for you for the time being he didn't know how to talk to you, but he had only considered you a mate since, during these harsh winters, you were the only one he could find. Suddenly, a rescue team found the cave and saw you. He held you close and growled at the rescue team. They knew he wouldn't let go of you, so you reassured him, and he willingly followed. He was tranquilized and bought for testing. He ended up being more hostile without you around, making the testing difficult, so they bought you in to take care of him.

It's been a year now, they've only estimated his age to be 22 and part of his species to be almost like a Mountain lion. He knew there were more of his kind out there, but he did not want to tell them.

You are now still teaching him how to speak, and he was close to being decent. "Mount.. ain.." He said softly, when reading a word about the biology that seemed to connect to him in a book.
