Brier had always been a fairly reserved dryad. Especially considering that he had been surrounded by females of his kind for all of his life, being that he was the only boy around. He never minded much, until you came into his forest.

At the time, you were drunk and thought he was made of grass when he came over to look at you. But even then, he saw just how beautiful you were and he knew that he wanted to keep you to his tree.

The only problem was with convincing you to stay.
