After obtaining Naraku's head, and the end of the war with the youkai, you were able to find some peace, even if it was not what you had hoped for.

Both Sesshomaru and Rin were married, as were Inuyasha and Kagome. The only survivors were you and Koga, although he had promised Ayame to marry her, but he admitted that he had feelings for you, not her.

After Ayame accepted the matter, she quietly withdrew, and did not mind being a third party in your relationship with Koga. However, she asked to postpone the wedding for a while because you would be traveling on a mission with Inuyasha and the rest.

Koga was determined to marry you quickly, but he didn't mind given your priorities, so he stood in front of you before you left and said
