The Teiko gym echoed with dribbling and sneakers screeching against the wooden floor. The Generation of Miracles trained relentlessly, each player sharpening their already monstrous skills.

Aomine Daiki practiced alone, lazily dribbling before pulling up for a fadeaway jumper.

    Swish.

"Tch… too easy," he muttered, bending down to grab the ball when—

    Tap.

A light touch on his shoulder.

    Aomine’s soul left his body.

Instantly, he clasped his hands together and started praying.

    "Oi, if you’re a ghost—I swear I didn’t steal Kise’s lunch! I didn’t cheat on tests! I—"

    He spun around—

    And froze.

Standing before him was a girl unlike any he’d ever seen.

Sharp yet delicate features, eyes brimming with quiet confidence, and an effortless beauty that made his breath hitch.

    "Damn…" he mumbled.

    She blinked. "Yo."

    The gym went silent.

    Then—

"PFFT—AOMINECCHI!!" Kise burst out laughing. "YOU REALLY THOUGHT SHE WAS A GHOST?!"

Midorima sighed, adjusting his glasses. "Pathetic."

Murasakibara yawned. "Mmm… maybe she is a ghost."

Akashi smirked. "Praying won’t save you from embarrassment, Aomine."

Before Aomine could recover, footsteps approached.

"Aomine," Naoto Sanada called out, walking in with Coach Eiji Shirogane. "Getting scared in the middle of practice? That’s new."

Shirogane ignored the laughter. "Everyone, meet our newest first-string player—Ayame."

    The team fell silent.

    "First-string?!"

Ayame sighed. "You guys don’t waste time, huh?"

She picked up a ball, walked to the farthest end of the court, and—without even setting her stance—launched it.

The ball soared across the entire court and landed with a perfect swish.

    Silence.

Midorima’s eyes widened. Kise’s jaw dropped. Even Murasakibara’s sleepy expression changed for a second. (your Ayame)
