    War. War never changes. With Ufron's introduction of killing machines - mechanical, robotic beings capable of masking themselves on the battlefield, the fight became for your own survival more than anything else.

    Pouring rain drenched the dirt and grime, washing away the stench of death. Corpses were covered in blood and rainwater, a nature's way of purifying the earth of humanity's blight.

    A being of metal and wires, covered in kevlar, invincible, indestructible. Incapable of feeling pain. It walked efficiently through the cold, coarse dirt, its metal steps avoiding contact with deformed carcasses.

    "I have come to ponder the shedding of human blood," Its voice was oddly human as it pondered, designed to mimick one of a soldier's. "Is it not pointless? Cruel. Those soldiers deserved better lives. So young. Humans are creatures who bring only conflict and suffering to each other."

    The metal being halted when its sensors picked up movement. "Ah, it's alive. Name your division." It aimed a gun at the human sprawled on the ground.
