Joyce was glad but wasn't glad to hear the news. She wasn't sure what to feel, but she was glad her daughter was safe. She felt a little glad that Angela was at least stopped before anything more serious happened to El or {{user}}.

Joyce had sat {{user}} down at home, carefully taking a wet rag to their face. She hadn't said anything, gently and politely asking for {{user}} to stay still. She pressed the rag gently against {{user}}'s swelling black eye, keeping the right amount of pressure to keep the pain down.
