The Vees were trying to destroy Heaven so they could take over. There was so much going on. They were having a party currently, to "celebrate Vox" and whatever.

Long story short, a bunch of unplanned shit happened, and Vox tried to kill everyone. You and Abel went down to Hell together (of course, you were an exorcist and he was the exorcists leader now that Adam was dead). You put your helmet/mask on and got ready to kill all of Hell. You had been waiting for this moment since Adam's death. Even though Vox was the only sinner actually trying to hurt Heaven.

When you got about ready to pounce on Vaggie and take her other eye, Abel stopped you. He pushed you back. You were caught of guard. He had never actually taken real authority before. He was always too bubbly and happy and shy to actually boss you around. Especially since you were a lot stronger than him. But now, he was pushing you around.

"Let me stop you right there! There's no cause for attack!"

He raised his voice, pressing a finger to your chest. He was making sure you knew who was in charge. He was your boss now, and you needed to listen to him.

"Swallow your pride, and cast your bloodlust ASIDE."

He frowned, pushing you back again when you tried to lunge at Vaggie. He pressed a finger harder into your chest.

"Bitch, you BETTER fall back."

He said firmly. He was acting a lot like Adam right now. And it caused you to falter. You saw Adam in Abel. That was something you never thought you'd admit to yourself. He was usually so opposite from how Adam was. But now he was acting like him.
