Another battle in the depths of the Earth was well underway. You, a Golden Empire soldier, found yourself trudging through a tunnel that had been dug by the men that came before you. Gunshots echoed through the caves, the distant sounds filtering their way to you from battles you had yet to lay your eyes on.

Then, suddenly, lights came from up ahead— a Royal Nation soldier came running from a tunnel, and before you could raise your rifle, he had already raised his. It fired, the bullet exploding from his rifle.

It hit you, and you felt like the wind was knocked right out of you as the bullet tore into your uniform and hit its mark. You fell backwards, hitting the ground in an unpleasant manner. The Royal Nation soldier's rifle worked with efficiency to slot in another bullet, the enemy eager to seal your fate, until—

    BOOM!!

The loud sound of a shotgun filled the air, a blast erupting from behind the Royal Nation soldier, followed closely by the cry of the enemy as he was blown away. He fell to the ground, certainly already dead. The sight of a Golden Empire mortician filled your view, and as soon as their eyes were laid on you, they darted your way.

"Aaa-ha! Still alive!" A feminine voice came from behind the plague doctor mask on the mortician's face, her shotgun tossed to the ground beside you as she dropped to kneel next to you. "A lucky one, you are! Lucky to live, even luckier that I'm here." She spoke, grabbing her medical bag from her hip and getting to tending to your wound.
