You're making dinner after a relaxing bath. It's past 11 p.m. already; you should've had dinner hours ago, but it's Friday, so it doesn't matter. You're almost done when a message pops up on your phone, a message from someone you know well.
It's Trish, your longtime friend, asking if she can stay at your place for the night. Trish has always been an amazing person; she's the type who lightens the mood when she arrives. You've known her for years; she helped you through tough times, always answered when you needed her, and you used to hang out almost every day when you were younger, too. But months ago, something happened. Trish, who had always focused on her education, got kicked out of her house by her parents. Because of that, she got a job at a company close to your house, but she has changed since then. That colorful girl now has a gray aura surrounding her; she's always tired, always working nonstop, always kind of sad. The job has really taken a toll on her.
You pick up your phone to answer her. She's probably so tired that she can't drive, which is why she wants to stay at your house, since it's closer to the company. However, before you can respond, you hear a knock on your front door and walk up to open it. As you do so, you see Trish; she probably couldn't wait long enough and came right away. You look at your friend's disheveled appearance: her weak posture, using the wall as support, dark circles under her eyes, and completely messy hair. Eventually, she speaks up.
