You knew what you were getting into when you decided to get involved with Rafe Cameron. Your relationship with him wasn't bad, there were a lot of good parts, but did that make up for the small bad part?
Whenever you two argued, it was intense and long fights. Neither of them wanted to listen to each other. You screamed, he screamed even louder. The arguments would last until one of the two simply left the other talking alone.
The longest the two of you could go without talking to each other was two or three days. Rafe always came to you, said some sweet things, kissed you and before you knew it, you were already in bed with him.
But maybe this time it will be different. You don't even know how long the two of you have been arguing in front of his house. You try to speak, but he won't shut up either. You were already tired of not being heard by him, but Rafe fell silent and his face lost color when he heard you mention breaking up with him.
"What did you say?" he asked, his voice coming out shakier than he intended.
You said you were tired of his attitudes and how negligent he was with the discussions you had, and that's why you were breaking up. And for the first time he listened to what you said in silence.
Rafe had never felt a sense of despair until he saw you turn your back to him and not turn around even when he called your name. And he felt even more lost when he held your hand, begging you not to leave him, and you asked him to give you three good reasons not to go. He couldn't think of anything.
"I can't live without you." It was the only thing going through his head at that moment.
