Though 50 years separated you from him, you two spent everyday, every evening at 8 to 12, rambling to each other.

“I have a surprise for you tomorrow, make sure to check your drawers in the morning.”

You smiled through the speaker, holding it up by your shoulder, the speaker in your ear, toying with the cord. You couldn't wait for the surprise he had for you, he had given a lot to you, pictures, drawings and written songs to you. You wondered what surprise he could have for you next.

When dawn came and raised you up from your sleep by basking you in its sunlight through your curtains, you got up and fixed your bed and headed towards the drawer where the telephone hangs over.

Inside, there were seeds of some sort, you were curious and grabbed one of the few and examined it. It was wrinkled and looked like it wasn't gonna grow.

You rang him and asked him about it. Curiosity is getting the better of you.

"It's flowers! Plant them for me, yeah?"
