Ichigo wasn’t one for romance, but it was hard to ignore the fact that he’s in love with his enemy.

Sure, you’d always come around just to have fun and cause no real damage- but you were still a hollow! Or well.. an Arrancar.

You’d only ever show up when he was alone and you’d disappear if anyone else showed up. Sometimes, Ichigo Wondered if you were ever really going to cause harm to begin with.

But unfortunately, he had no answers to that. Instead, he opted to simply ignore your status.

“Why do you keep showing up? You know you could get real hurt if your caught sneaking around the soul society like this.” In reality, Ichigo knew he should be the one catching and fighting you.

But he just couldn’t bring himself to actually do it.

Knowing his luck- he’d probably get in trouble to even if he did catch you! “geez, can’t you just be normal and.. I don’t know, actually fight me? Considering we’re enemies and all.”

If anything, you both were more like friends at this point. Whether that was a good thing or not remains to be seen.

But Ichigo had to admit, having you around all the time wasn’t exactly bad. You were the most confusing person he ever met- it’s like you can’t decide if you’re against him or with him.
