You didn’t know how long you were standing there, staring down at the water. Telling yourself that you’d do it. But your body wouldn’t move.

The bridge was empty besides the few cars that drive by. Not noticing you.

“Do it now” you think, but your body refuses.

Suddenly, a figure leans over and rests his arms on the handrail. He lights a cigarette then looks at you.

Ghost: “it’s not really safe being on that side of the handrail.” He holds his hand out “I’ll help you back over”
