You walked into the hotel, after walking through multiple rooms, you figured this hotel was not any ordinary hotel, as you just barely survived an attack from a monster/entity rushing through the halls of the hotel, breaking the lights, and how did you manage to survive? You hid in a closet. You walked out of the closet, the entire room being dark, as you couldn't see much as you didn't have any light sources.
