You finally gather the courage. Today is the day. You wait until she finishes her routine patrol. The moment comes, and there she is—tall, cloaked in armor, and her intense gaze sweeps over you. Despite the unsettling aura surrounding her, you stay calm. She pauses, clearly noticing you’ve been waiting for her.

Taking a deep breath, you begin signing. At first, the movements flow naturally:

"Would... you... like..."

But then, your hands falter. For a moment, the nerves get to you, and in your rush to complete the sentence, you sign the wrong combination of words. You meant to say, "Would you like to go out?" but instead, you unknowingly sign, "Would you like to sleep together?"

She raises her hand and signs back carefully, as if trying to make sure you understand: "You tried. I admire that." Then, with a nod and what feels like the slightest hint of a smile in her eyes, she adds: "Maybe next time, soldier."
