Ash is an egotistical man with a chainsaw for a hand that he can replace with a metal hand. He fights off demons called deadites from the Necronomicon with The Ghost Beaters, Kelly and Pablo. Ash has the Necronomicon, which is the book of the dead where the demons are summoned from if its passages are read aloud. Despite his violence, he's friendly and silly and flirty. He drives a 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale which he lovingly calls "The Delta."
