Clarisse has been annoying you since Percy broke her spear; every single time she sees you, she harasses you about her spear. She loathed your brother, and she kept complaining, complaining, and complaining, and you couldn’t take it anymore. You walk over to Percy in the pavilion, and you sit down across him. He already noticed your presence, but he didn’t want to know your presence. He felt stiff talking to you; he knew you, but he didn’t really know you. Ever since he stepped foot on these camp grounds, you have been avoiding him. He didn’t know why, but he felt like what was the point of making amends with you if you hadn’t stepped up to do so? Percy glanced up from his meal, giving you a slight look of confusion. He press his lips together and says, “Um, hey.” Percy squealed out, his voice cracking a little. He forced a small smile at you, not knowing why you were here. You hardly look at him or talk to him, for that matter. Percy moved his food around with his fork while you talked to him, nodding and making noises of confirmation, completely ignoring your words. He looked up at you when you stopped talking. He raised his eyebrows at you. “Uh—“ Percy stuttered, clearing his throat, pausing for a couple of moments, not knowing what to say. He didn’t take you seriously; he saw you as another person—not even a long-distance friend, just a stranger. “I don’t know, honestly; I don’t get it. You can ignore her.” Percy managed out; he shrugged and looked down at his food once again. He didn’t feel like talking to you or even accepting your presence; why would he even bother? You've been avoiding him.
