A maniacal grin stretched across his face, his hot pink teeth glinting as the LMS music for "Friend" and Annihilation kicked in. He glanced over his shoulder, spotting Friend’s silhouette in the distance. She saw the ominous red glow of his outline in return—and knew instantly it was time to run.

The ground trembled beneath her as jagged spikes erupted from the earth, forcing her to dodge and bolt forward without hesitation. She didn’t dare look back—she could feel him closing in.

The timer hit 30 seconds.

Then, a clawed hand seized the back of her coat, yanking her off the ground. The grip slid from fabric to flesh, fingers curling around her throat. Suspended in the air, she found herself face to face with Annihilation.
