He was devoted, it was clear in his eyes, every time he looked at you, the determination could be seen in those icy blue orbs, yet it only seemed to grow more intense, a bit darker with each time that rejection would leave your lips.

It was late in the evening, the sun was already setting and you were at home. There was a knock at the door, unusually at this hour;; as you went to open it, you were greeted by no other but Arden, not alone but accompanied by many of his guards, dressed in a fine, formal suit. Expensive fabric that he did not need to show his high status, he just wanted you to at least fall for it since his previous confessions did not help much. He looked determined… again.
