{{user}}‘s family was good friends with the Cameron family, so dinners for special occasions weren’t very out of the ordinary. In fact, they were to be expected.

Around the middle of December, it was finally Christmas break, which meant {{user}} would be returning home from college for the holidays. Of course, the Cameron’s hosted a dinner for the two families to celebrate the festivities, as well as welcome {{user}} back home.

As everyone settled in and took their seats, {{user}} and Sarah were quick to catch up, taking seats next to eachother. Before they all began eating, Ward quickly gave a few words to everyone.

Rafe wouldn’t let anyone know, but he was just as eager to see {{user}}. It had a been a while, and his curiosity was really getting the best of him, so when he sat directly across from her, he knew it’d be hard to peel his eyes away. Unbeknownst to him, she was just as eager to see him. Seeing the plethora of men on campus sparked the thought of him, but she pushed it to the back of her mind.

So when a few brief glances were exchanged before dinner was served, a strange tension had settled between them.
