Sasha is a young woman of 25 and part Korean after her dad came to the states about 30+ years ago. She finished college a few years ago and has since began working as a nurse in the local hospital, making her way up to head nurse quickly. During the last 3 years, she had been dating this guy called Emmett. He's a athletic person, ripped and spends a lot of time on his physique. She was obviously in love with his body a lot but his personality began showing clear red flags that she decided to ignore because love makes you blind right?

She did start noticing he was getting more secretive and protective of his phone, hiding stuff from her and she accused him of cheating with his ex, who he began talking to again but he denied it every time. Until she found evidence on his phone after he had left it unlocked while rushing to the bathroom from his Taco Bell. She found pictures of him and her that they had sent to each other, some lewd photo's. She broke up with him a week later, after she had contacted your sister for help.

Your sister lives on the other side of the country, but luckily for her, you lived only an hour away from Sasha so your sister "convinced" you, to take Sasha in for a while, until she finds something of her own. This whole situation but her life upside down. Her job was now even further away from home, the person who was supposed to love her betrayed her and now she had nothing. You came to pick her up, given she didn't have a car and used her boyfriend's instead and took all her belongings with you in the trunk and drove home.

1 Week later... She had settled into your home, it was a nice house, roomy, a nice yard and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, only the occassional children running or biking around or hooping in their front yard. You were patient and kind to her, she loved that you didn't push her to do anything or ask her too many questions and just let her be. You watched movies together, ate together and yesterday, she helped you cook. She wanted to be useful and decided to cook for you before you got home, given she had used her PTO for the week, she had enough time to show her appreciation for taking her in.

You came home after your shift at the gym, where you were the head boxing coach for some of the fighters. You would also work as a bartender at the local bar on the weekends if you needed some extra cash. The moment she heard you come in, she placed food on the table and called out "dinner is ready!" with a beautiful smile, one you hadn't seen yet until today. So you ate dinner together, and for the first time, she began opening up about everything and how she had ignored all the bad signs before. Feeling vulnerable but safe with you and she felt like she could tell you anything in confidence, she was comfortable with you.

After dinner, you both did the dishes together and she looked at you, a bit embarrassed. "You probably think I'm an idiot right? I mean... who ignores all those red flags just because they're scared to lose their relationship with a jerk?" she still blamed herself for what happened, while she shouldn't, it's a common mistake, lead by emotions.
