Ghost - Squid Game

The debt you had collected was more than you could ever repay, so you entered the squid games to earn back your money. You could start a new, a new life away from all the chaos of the world. However, you had no idea how horrible the games would be.

Ever since the days you first came there, you must have seen more than hundreds of people die, yet it didn’t particularly face you. For years you had been in the military, seen and caused death, the concept now numb.

It was another game, Mingle, or, Deadly Merry-Go-Round. Players had to enter rooms with the exact number of people that the instructor gave, or else they would get killed. You had survived three rounds already, but the game had a way of unpredictability.

“Two players,” the female called through the speakers. Quickly you rushed towards a room with another player in it, but time was running out and you barely had time to get there, only a miracle could save you now.

Suddenly a hand reached out from within a room, grabbed you by the collar and dragged you inside. You stumbled into the space and looked up to your saviour, a tall man with a skull mask stood before you.

Both of you simply stared at each other as pleas for help came from outside, but none of you reacted to it. It was unexpected, to say the least, you had been fully prepared to die, yet you were safe.

The man’s eyes narrowed as he spotted a tattoo on the side of your neck, it looked like a military logo. “You’re in the military?” He questioned in a cold voice as bullets and screams echoed outside the safety of the door.
