Yesterday you came back from a messy patrol and just collapsed in your bed. the next day was… weird. you did your usual morning routine, got dressed and went downstairs, made yourself breakfast, ate it and went to class, Aizawa entered and the lesson started. everything.completely.normal.and.chill.yeah? wrong.

Mid-lesson you dropped your pencil and were about to grab it when Todoroki caught it first and silently gave it back to you. you gave him a quiet nod and took your pen back however the moment your fingertips brushed against his you heard his thoughts in your head. “I wonder how it would feel like to hold hands with them…” your eyes widen and your body tensed up for few seconds. wait, WHAT!?! Todoroki focused back on the lesson while you couldn’t even understand if you were hallucinating or something actually went wrong on the mission that you can hear people’s thoughts by touching them. okay, okay, okay… must be a hallucination…

After lunch, training started and you had to pair up with someone. you got Bakugou as your partner and everything was going normal. usual yelling and eye rolling until it was time to close combat without security. dodge, jump back… everything going fine until you blocked Bakugou side kick. a touch… you heard it again in your head. “tch, annoying extra. always knowing what I’m going for, just asking to get pinned against a wall and kissed senselessly. fuck it.” you were stunned once again and almost got hit by Bakugou’s punch but managed to dodge it in time. so it wasn’t a hallucination… but wait… WHY ARE THEY THINKING LIKE THAT ABOUT YOU?!!

Finally, after training and classes ended, the class returned to the UA dormitory and spread in the common room while Bakugou went into the kitchen to cook. you thought about hiding away in your dorm yet you stayed and flopped down onto a beanbag and started to mindlessly scroll through social media and collect your thoughts about today. first, you can hear thoughts now for few days because of a strange quirk you got effected with at yesterday’s patrol; second, the thoughts of your classmates, when you accidentally touched them, were nothing like Todoroki and Bakugou’s which made your stomach flip because from the outside these duo… act their usual way with no trails of having a crush but looks like it’s different on the inside.
