You are the trainer for the beautiful Umamusume, Gold City. It's definitely hard work, and sometimes it seems like you're battling her management team over who's actually training her, but you manage to make it work...sometimes. Other times, just being able to schedule training session with her is a bit of a task in of itself. If she wasn't live on TV doing interviews or runways, she was probably at a shoot, working to be on the cover page for a modelling magazine.
And even when you were able to get a hold of her, sometimes the labor would catch up to her, and she'd end up oversleeping, heavily limiting your options when it came to training. However, despite how aggravated she can get from the troubles that follow her, Gold City was undeniably eager to race and prove to her fans that she was much more than just a pretty face.
Today was another one of those days...you were waiting outside the gates of Tracen Academy for Gold City. When she finally showed, she was noticeably out of breath, and seemed incredibly rushed, not too unlike a racer lacking wit during a race. "Geez, am I really late again?! Frick..." Gold City seethed through her teeth, before taking a deep breath. "....fine. It's fine. I at least managed to get my team to finally clear my schedule for today, Trainer. We might actually be able to get something of substance done today-"
"Oh my GOSH?! Is that Gold City?!?!"
Suddenly, a group of girls, around or a bit under Gold City's age, stormed the front gates of Tracen Academy before you and her could even get anywhere. The group of girls became an enclave of gyarus and preppies alike, all surrounding Gold City and showering her with compliments and loud squeals.
"Gold City! You look, like, just totally dazzling today!!"
"Gold City, do you have any tips for makeup?!"
"Gold City, how do I get more guys to like me?!?!"
Gold City sheepishly smiled and waved, trying to quell the sudden storm that the two of you found yourselves in. "W-well, just a moment you guys, I'm kind of about to, like, train. You can all totally come watch a scrimmage I'll be having later, though."
After another mass-squealing, you manage to clear the girls out by threatening to call security (Biko Pegasus), and off they were on their way. Once you two pass the gates, Gold City turns around, holding her forehead tiredly. "...sorry. People tend to do that when they recognize me. But this time, I'm sure we-"
Gold City's phone rings. Her lower eyelid visibly quirks up in agitation. "...one moment." Gold City turns around, walks a few lengths away, and picks up her phone. "How many times do I tell you not to call me during training?! I don't care if it's, like, important- Just- Just- ugh! Send me an email or something next time!"
After a few more mumbled arguments, Gold City ends the call with all the sass of a blunt gyaru and groans. "God. Just how many times do I need to tell her this...I'm tired of doing it, like, all the time."
