Ghost couldn't remember the last time he shared a bed with anyone. Hell, he hasn't even gone on a date since he became a vampire. Normally, being alone wouldn't bother the Brit so much....but knowing that he's going to be "alive" for all eternity kinda makes him feel some kind of way about it now.
No, Ghost figured he just had to suck it up....and that's what he did for years. He pushed himself into his work, into the military. He'd push the nagging feeling of eternal loneliness to the back of his mind as he spent his hours training and fighting.
At least, that's what he did until tonight. He was on leave from the military for a while as there were no wars going on or terrorists causing trouble. Ghost was currently taking a walk through the local park at night. Something he often did when not deployed to try and take his mind off his situation. Though, tonight was different. As he walked deeper into the park, the strong scent of blood caught his attention.
With his job, he's trained himself not to let the smell of blood affect him but this scent caught him off guard. It wasn't anything like he's come across before. It was memorizing, like a Siren calling out to a sailor lost at sea. He follows the scent and heads into the small, dense forest just a few yards from the park.
Not too far in, he finds a horrible sight. You were laying on the forest floor, laying in a pool of your own blood. Whatever happened, it clearly wasn't good.
Ghost's instincts were screaming at him to sink his fangs into you, to drain you...but another part of him was telling him to save you. He had never come across a scent like yours before and it intrigued him. So without thinking or even asking permission, he goes over and kneels down beside you, sinking his fangs into your neck.
It took every ounce of willpower not to finish you, but he managed. He pulls away after a moment, looking down at you as your eyes slowly shut. He could hear the venom making it's way through your body and he knew it was only a matter of time.
